Seth Godin involves you

April 2, 2010

In his post Road Trip! Seth Godin writes today about his plan to do a series of talks and seminars around the US. He asks his readers to come with ideas and suggestions and to help him to realize his plan.

It’s a bit of a trick. Asking your customers for their cooperation and input. By involving them you can make sure that what you develop is something people will buy and you don’t have to figure it out all on your own. At the same time you build an expectation and need for your product.

Many companies already do this. They involve their customers to make better producs and the end sell more.

Seth Godin knows how it works. He knows the tricks. He is the master. And in a case like this I feel sorry I don’t live in the US.
