This time of the year a lot of people are wondering what will be changing the next year. What will be the trends in 2010.
Why ask the question? Why always look at what others do? You are the ones that will make the change in 2010. Or not.
Are you still advertizing in magazines? Magazines that see the number of readers decrease, while the people that read the magazines have less and less time to do so. Or are you paying a lot of money to be on a fair that welcomes less visitors every year?
Make the change in 2010. Spend only a small percentage of your marketing budget on improving your website. At the same time promote your website by using Google Adwords – not the perfect solution, but if you use it well you will profit from it – or start a weblog. Go ahead and start sending out an e-newsletter. You don’t have to start big with thousands of subscribers. Let it grow over time.
Start to really communicate with your customers in 2010. You are the one to make the change. To set the trend. Not somebody else.
