All you need is … content

January 10, 2010

Whatever your B2B marketing activities are on the internet or on any other platform, you need only one thing. Good content.

But don’t make the mistake that a lot of people make. Good content is not about your products. Good content is about your customers and prospects, their applications and how your products can benefit them.

Writing good content is difficult. But it helps to use the the six W’s and the one H. Start with asking what, when, where, which, who, why and how.

To make a start, just write down some questions and start answering them.

  • What is the effect when people use your products
  • When can your products best be used
  • Where are your products used
  • Which applications can benefit from your products
  • Who should buy your products and who is already using them
  • Why should people buy your products
  • How can people best use your products

The answers are the basis for great content.
