Just finished reading Permission Marketing by Seth Godin. Ten years too late. Permission Marketing was written in 1999, but 10 years later it is still a book that you need to read.
The message is clear. Forget about Interruption Marketing and concentrate on Permission Marketing. Your campaigns will be much more effective. You will get better leads and you will be able to build a better and longer relationship with your customers. At the same time you are able to reduce your costs if need be, without affecting your campaigns too much.
Seth Godin wrote this book 10 years ago. That is no problem, because it is still very useful. But read it now and don’t wait another 10 years.
